The trip from Munich took about 9 hours via Hamburg (Germany). The almost 1000km was pretty fast for the most part, and despite our fears about the holiday rush, the trip was really enjoyable and went according to plan.

There was a taxi from the hotel when we arrived in Niibyul, but after several days of light luggage and a long train ride, we decided to take a 10-minute walk in the fresh air and explore the shopping opportunities near our accommodation along the way,😌.
Despite the good infrastructure and amenities, everything in Niibyul can be reached within 20 minutes on foot.
When we arrived at Meissenweg, a charming traditional thatched-roof house (Reet-Dachhaus) awaited us, where we entered a modern and comfortable holiday home. We didn't need an explanation of the key box with the code we received by email, as the holiday neighbors came across the large garden in front of the house and kindly explained everything to us,😊🙏.
We spent the first evening in our apartment, in other words, "Housewarming" for the beginning of the vacation, 🤓.
Tomorrow morning at 8:30, the iBikes we ordered online will be delivered. For about €20 per day and a €50 deposit, we received a fully equipped bike with everything from helmets and chargers to mounting bags.
Our first route took us to Dagebül, about 15 km away, through the beautiful and quaint old town of Nijbül. Almost all the way there are cycle paths in depressions below the roads, which are also well signposted (impossible to get lost). One of the best impressions was the friendly "MoiiiiiiiIN" (SaiNUuuuu) oncoming traffic that passed by us... like a racing car speeding from afar... funny, friendly, beautiful,😁.
It's a great feeling to ride an iBike, even though the wind always felt like it was coming from the front, we didn't feel the need to ride with all our might... For me, that's what vacation is all about 😎.
Dagebül itself is a small town consisting of small resorts and hotels with a small pier. Although there is no "real" sandy beach here, you can swim on the grass along the dam, and swimming is allowed even if the sea is ropey. There is a charge of €2 per day to keep this public toilet and beach area clean.
For lunch, we had delicious local fish (caught from the sea in the morning) with fried potatoes at a table in the restaurant overlooking the sea. I concluded that the wine list was good and the food was very tasty, so the price was not cheap, but reasonable.
The next day there was almost no wind and not a cloud in the sky... "LUXURY". Anyway, decided to go to Foer Island from Dageby by boat before noon. The price for a round trip is 20€ and it takes about 45 minutes, approx.
On the island, there is an endless beach and a beautiful forest. If you are interested in seeing the island in 1 day, I would say that a bicycle is the best means of transportation. There are bike paths everywhere, and you can eat everywhere you go.
If you are interested in deep water swimming, if you are looking for a place that is cold and without strong currents, you can find it at the beach called Vyuk next to the city, because one of the characteristics of the North Sea is that it has a bottom that is exposed when there is a sea line in this area, and it has its own healthy ecological flora and fauna. So be it!
Back in Niebuhl, we had dinner at an excellent Burger-Restaurant near the train station. Overall we were very satisfied with the food, the Italian restaurant, Burgers and Fish/Crabs were adequate, starting with the delicious Wagyu beef from the coastal specialty, and I thought I should mention that the Bio-Galloway beef steak was also amazing.
Mahchin Mongolian Tsengel, 😋.
There is a great opportunity to buy food and drink at home, there is a supermarket, Bio- and Asia-Mark, as well as meat and bread shops within a 1.5 km radius. I should also thank the whole good for being open for so long.
In the following days, the weather was changeable, so we wandered on the beach on a sunny day, and on a rainy day, we went to Husum by train and visited the old historic dock near the interesting old city center. I have never been happier than riding a bike and eating interesting meat. It's just a holiday, 😅 😂 🤣.
Oh yes, this bottle of rum was drunk once in the evening during its entire stay. The taste was very interesting. Well, you can order it on the internet, the person who makes it gave it to me.
We easily got used to our vacation home and had a few drinks with our neighbors in the evenings in the garden in front of the apartment.
The return via Hamburg also went according to plan without any problems...
In any case, it's possible to have a nice vacation in Niebyul without a car!
